GPS Week Number Rollover (WNRO)

Regarding the GPS Week Number Rollover (WNRO) issue, the GPS date and time are calculated based on the number of week during the development of the GPS system, and the week number of the chip plan can only be calculated up to 1024 weeks, or about 19.7 years. After every 1024 weeks, this counter is "reset" to zero and the GPS time starts counting again. The first GPS week rollover occurred in August 1999. The second time will occur on April 6, 2019.The affected product will display the wrong date and time when the GPS week is rollover. However, the positioning accuracy is not affected. The wrong time will affect the computing and other functions of Qstarz's PC software.
Therefore Qstarz is devoted ourselves to test and correct our products with the most strict attitude. All Qstarz GNSS products such as LT-6000S [GNSS], BL-1000GT and BL-1000ST will not be affected by the GPS week rollover. For affected Qstarz GPS models, Qstarz will one after another release corresponding model’s new firmware to solve the issue.

GPS衛星週數重置 (WNRO)

Vielen Dank für Ihre Unterstützung und die Verwendung eines QStarz Produktes.
Bei dem GPS Week Number Rollover (WNRO) handelt es sich um die Rückstellung der Wochen des GPS-Datums und der GPS-Zeit. Die Grundlage ist die Anzahl der Wochen die während der Entwicklung des GPS-Systems berechnet und verwendet werden. Viele GPS Chips können die Wochennummern nur bis 1024 Wochen berechnen. Ca. alle 19,7 Jahre wird dieser Wochenzähler auf „Null“ zurückgesetzt und die GPS-Zeit beginnt erneut zu zählen. Das erste GPS Week Number Rollover fand im August 1999 statt und zweite Mal am 06.04.2019.Bei einigen Produkten wird dann ein falsches Datum und eine falsche Uhrzeit angezeigt. Die Positionsbestimmung und die Genauigkeit ist davon nicht betroffen. Das falsche Datum und die falsche Uhrzeit treten erst bei Auswertungen mit den QStarz PC Programmen auf.
QStarz ist bestrebt, alle Produkte ausführlich zu testen und ggf. zu korrigieren. Alle QStarz-GNSS-Produkte wie das LT-6000S (GNSS), BL-1000GT und BL-1000ST sind von der GPS Week Number Rollover nicht betroffen. Für die betroffenen QStarz-GPS-Modelle wird QStarz nacheinander eine neue Firmware für die entsprechenden Modelle zur Lösung des Problems veröffentlichen.
Für folgende QStarz Modelle gibt es eine neue Firmware. Bitte wählen Sie Ihr Gerät aus und laden Sie sich die neue Firmware runter. Bitte lesen Sie die Anleitung zum Firmwareupdate bevor Sie das Update entsprechend der Anleitung durchführen.
